2h reunion (swan post!)

we started off with dinner at shokudo at raffles city. the place has little stalls that is supposed to serve a wide variety of jap food so i guess the availability of choice was what drew crowds when it first opened not too long ago. i know cos i was there when it opened. anyway, i personally thought shokudo was a HORRIBLE choice cos the last time i went, the food was bad, overpriced and i had to walk around to order my food and bring it back to the table (yes, food court style. at restaurant price. ) would rather just order from the menu and get decent food at the same price-after all what's the point of being able to choose when good food is not an available option?

but i didn't want to seem picky so i dint tell kangqi. found out later that jamie was the one who suggested it. hahaha. but it wasnt THAT bad la. maybe it was the company. still, i ordered sushi which cost me 23.42 inclusive of gst. not that that is daylight robbery, but for the freshness of the sashimi (or rather, the lack of it) i wouldnt have paid more than 15 dollars for it. tsk tsk. and june took the unagi and salmonroe sushi. my favourites. oh well, its okay i can always buy them another day from somewhere better! haha!
june and i shared the garlic salmon fried rice wrapped in omelette. i only took about 3 spoons of it, and june finished the rest. she said she didnt like it. and later we shared a strawyberry slush ice thingie which cost 6.80 (without ice cream). it was basically ice with every inch covered in strawberry flavoured syrup, condensed milk, 8 slices of strawberry (less than 3 strawberries in total), maybe a tbsp of canned corn. we didn't even finish it.
So people, don't go to raffles city shokudo. maybe with that it will close down and a more worthy food haunt will resurface in its place. to think it got so much media attention.. but jamie, please don't feel bad about suggesting it cos i excitedly begged my mom to bring us there just a few months ago. :)

so after dinner we went to the open space above esplanade where according to jane, lovers go. played some silly games like pass the message. when yunxuan xumei sokemay jiayi and the rest wanted to leave, we decided to go down to harry's instead so they stayed for a little while more. i was sitting in the middle table- conversation on my right, on my left but at my table it was an awkward silence.

ended with tzh kif jam and i at marina square talking chatting.

now here's the juicy bits.

1. the guys were SHOCKED to bits by june and even more so by kangqi.
kangqi was stroking the trunk of an elephant stuffed toy. june told her to stop it cos it looked like kq was giving it a HANDJOB. then kangqi asked the guys if they ERECTED.
O.O and we were supposed to be from the guai kia club. wth.

2. kangqi said before, she thought that guys were like that (thumb and middle finger about 5 inches apart) and now that she's attached she knows that guys are sometimes like that (3 inches) or like that (5inches) WALAO. oh yes please let me clarify that the inches are estimated by me cos i din take a ruler to measure the distance between her fingers. and i have no idea how long its supposed to be before and after so pardon me if there's a mistake. just take it as genetic differences between individuals.

3. this isnt that juicy but i was just surprised upon hearing this and i should clarify it. apparently kiat told kif that i was grinded at obar during post prom and was constantly surrounded by guys. haha! but the truth is that when jane and jon left me to my own defences, she told the dhs guys to look aft me, which they did pretty well by forming a protective circle barrier thing around me such that NO guy could grind me. LOL. effort appreciated though :)

will continue the rest on another day. gonna go meet jane and tzh soon! we're going to minds cafe to play boardgames :) sounds fun haha.
